I am home. I have recuperated from the trip (I think) and I’m back to business. So far, I’ve gotten all the kiddos to school, got my yoga on, showered and consumed a green smoothie. Oh, and I may have gotten “the eye” from a mom at the preschool. We were wearing matching purple bandanas and kept catching each other looking at, uh, each other. Tee hee. So, this marks the beginning of April, a month that is supposed to be full of fun and celebration for me. I can only think... 

I have been thinking a lot about couches lately. I’d like a new one, but I’m picky, we have a demonic cat, and the couch I really want is cost prohibitive and would require me actually decorating my house, so its out for a while. Couch purchasing is not what I’m thinking about much; I’m thinking about the life of a couch. The couch I am sitting upon has been in the family longer than The Enigma. I have a photo of him breastfeeding on one of the stupid safari-animal (shush!)...

By Melia, the tired. My girls and I left for the wedding at 8am on Friday, traveling to a magical land we’ll call Weddingshire. Dr. Nightmare, my navigator, assured me that by driving down a highway instead of an interstate, we would arrive at our dreadful destination 30 minutes earlier than driving via interstate. We weren’t in a hurry, and I fondly remembered that on former trips to Weddingshire as a child, there were all sorts of cute fruit stands, souvenir shops, etc., so it seemed...
