OMG! I have been sleeping with the TV on since I was 4 years old. (I also had cable in my room so I sometimes woke up Skinimax playing so that really messed me up so . . . ) I wake up immediately if someone turns it off. Your story gives me hope

I love lists because:
1. They’re fun to read.
2. They don’t take a lot of mental energy to write (you know the kind of energy it takes think of rockin’ verbs and not use adverbs and make your narrative sing and link two ideas…the hell with all that.). You know what I’m talking about, right?
3. If it’s a to do list, the items can be crossed off. And if it’s my kind of to do list, I make damn sure I put everything on it (eat breakfast, take shower, etc.), so I get credit where credit is due.
4. There is no “reading” into lists. It is, what it is, man.

@Michelle Zive,
1. If I could blog nothing but lists, I would die happy.
2. I may make a list of reasons why I should only make lists.
3. My lists tend to have strange words that made sense at the time, but then later, I can’t figure out what the hell I was thinking.
4. It totally is what it is.
