Floored. Aghast. Shocked. Sad.
These are two people our children look up to, two people that have found themselves in violent relationships and know first-hand how not sexy it is.
Can abuse possibly be glorified more?
As long as the wrong feels right
It’s like I’m in flight
High of a love
Drunk from the hate
It’s like I’m huffing paint
And I love it the more that I suffer
I suffocate
And right before I’m about to drown
She resuscitates me
She fucking hates me
And I love it
Sigh.

Are they serious? I don’t give a rat’s behind that it’s a song, Megan Fox is an actor, that it’s a video and not real. The problem here is that our kids grew up on music videos as a way of interpreting songs and life. In the old days, we brought our own experiences to songs we listened to. For the love of Pete, Rihanna we saw your bruised and battered face after Chris Brown beat you up. What would you like my teenage daughters to think (because this video is telling them what to think) about men who hit them? UN-sexy indeed. YUCK!

This makes me so angry I cannot even put my thoughts into words. Except to say that that misogynist rap star, hypocritical woman, Megan Fox, the guy from Lost/Flash Fwd, and every record exec, video guy and any store selling this crap should be ashamed of themselves for putting this out there where not only impressionable youth but anyone can see it and the message it sends. Just disgusting
