		<description>the problem with this whole thing is that the state is trying to dictate what marriage is when it is not a state issue. The state did not create marriage...religion did. This is a case when the all too popular &quot;separation of church and state&quot; should come in. Thus when religion states that marriage is only between a husband and wife, they are right...because it is something viewed to have been created by God. Jesus Himself stated in the gospels that a man would leave his family to cleave to a wife in reference to Genesis&#039; creation of the first marriage between Adam and Eve. Whether you agree to this or not is not the issue. The fact remains: religion dictates what are the proper terms of marriage since it came out from them...the state does not. It has no say in the matter.Marriage is not an &quot;evolutionary&quot; invention. It can&#039;t since it doesn&#039;t help with increase of the species nor natural selection. It is totally religious</description>
