I want to preface this by mentioning that not all of these songs are actually FROM 2009, but that they’re songs that I played a whole lot, so they get mentions. Without further ado, my 2009 musical trip down memory lane favorite songs that I played constantly, annoying my family, because I’m evil.

Glitter in the Air – There was a pretty sad part of my year where things just seemed a bit, uh… hopeless. “The breath before the kiss and the fear before the flames,” was dorkspirational, what can I say?

Drops of Jupiter – If you were paying attention, this was one of those songs that was haunting me for a few months. It was everywhere. Great song, and I think I get the message now.

All Through the Night – 2009 was the year I remembered how much I adore Cyndi Lauper, and more than that, this version of my favorite CL song with Shaggy. F’in awesome.
