I’m not a grammarfreak, but I do enjoy the elitist aspect of appearing snarky-smart. So there.

    I love finding out just how much I’m not a geek. Do ya think we could send this to some high school English teachers so they’ll actually teach grammar to their students? Or is that really too much to ask? :para

    One of my professors returned a twenty-page paper to me once with little x’s throughout; she had crossed off my semi-colons everywhere. Hmph.

    i love the semicolon! i once had a paper returned to me with a note that read something like “go discover the semicolon; embrace it; use it; i will not fail you if you turn this back in next week!”
