30 senators voted against this amendment. 30 senators, including John McCain, seem to think that rape is ok, or “none of their business” – probably because their business is Halliburton, or some other contractor, or some alien void that only morons with their heads up their asses seem to reside in.
Rape is real. It is catastrophic and it affects men and women. While I hold out hope for the Republican party, I am beginning to have my doubts. Those of you who are sane Republicans, please rename yourselves. Distance yourselves as far from the term, “Republican” as soon as you can. These people are really dragging you down.
