(Dedicated to the fabulous MJ) Not just energy drinks, but the wonders of coffee, guarana and other assorted chemicals. Totally yum, well, mostly. Day 1, Drink #1: Not bad, no weird aftertaste. Could be worse. Yes, I have a drinking problem. Day 1, drink #2. It was mean, it was of bean. I didn’t make me scream. Day 3 (Because Day 2 was a break), only drink! It was pretty good: not too sweet, not too chemical. Good job, Starbucks! Day #4, Drink #1. OH MY GOD THIS WAS HORRIBLE. I love caramel... 

You just walked in to find me here with that sad look upon my face. Nah, not really. I’m happy to be home. I missed my townhouse with no yard, even if I’m dying to have a yard. I missed my husband, my animals… my online life. I loved being away from it all, too, and spending so much time with my kids, my family and my friends. I came home to a clean house (score 10 for The Husband!) and all of the comforts I pushed aside, like crushed ice I have a few more blogs about the experience,... 

Today is the last day before we drive home. I’m up in the Detroit ‘burbs, coincidentally where I used to live with my Grandparents during an extemely bizarre toddlerhood. I even had an exceptional moment of Deja Vu as we drove past a University just a few minutes ago. There is a lot to say about the concept of “coming home” that needs further explanation, but I am too tired to elaborate (please keep the applause to a minimum).
