In preparation for a new project, I have been journeying throughout my local area snapping pictures and getting stories. On Saturday, The Husband suggested we head west to check out some farmer’s markets, and inevitably a winery or two.

So, we drove west. I ended up with a case of wine and a winery “club” membership. I don’t really care for wine, but I am a fan of dessert wine. It makes me happy. The wine we sampled was no exception. Blackberry or Raspberry. Club members get to sample both because we’re all cool like that.

(Please note that being a member of any club is totally against my sense of justice, but whatever. Give me about a glass of multi-colored/flavored/scented wines and I’m clearly not thinking about justice anymore)

According to the wine pourer (I’m sure there’s a technical term) the raspberry wine totally changes flavor when paired with dark chocolate. She was right, so when she suggested that we rim our own wine glasses at home with dark chocolate, I knew I needed to obey her. I don’t even like chocolate and it was pretty good.

Without further ado… this is the dessert-type treat that I predict my friend at a hippy chick will love… or not. For the record, this isn’t Magic Shell.
