I woke up this morning with this song in my head, beating me with a stick to hear what it was saying to me, still laughing at my dorky attempts to coerce my belly dance teacher into virtual coffee with me and 50 of my closest friends. This is the morning that I let The Enigma walk to school “by himself” and began making actual calls to organize a camping event in fall. I’m trying to call an aunt I’ve not spoken to in 15 years, and another “aunt” just called me last night, out of the blue. Our last few conversations weren’t the greatest, so I’m not sure what to think about it. My essay will be done by Friday, my other paper by next Friday and then my semester is over and I have weeks of nothing but summer fun and roadtripping ahead of me.

There is simply magic in the air today.
