Melia’s Annual Crippling Leg Misstep.

Generally, I sprain an ankle or bust a toe every spring, give or take a few weeks, in order to eliminate any need to be outside when the weather is not-too-hot and not-too-cold. This time, its 3 days before I have to drive The Husband’s car an hour to the airport (it has a clutch!) for my 3 day vacation in Texas this weekend.

What happened? Oh, I simply tried to step over the futon in the basement and managed to hit my knee right above the kneecap on the arm of the futon and there’s a big purple knot where my pasty flesh used to reside.

Luckily, my trip this weekend will include a lot of witchery, and by Monday, I’ll be busy bragging complaining about how exhausted I am from all of the healing I endured with 7 -10 of the most amazing people I’ve never met.

Happy Spring!

Love,

Melia’s Knee.
