And there it is!

I missed my feeling of righteous indignation. It had been missing the past few days, hiding under a flurry of appointments and obligations of which I have not yet cancelled or fallen behind in my scheduling. But, this week has left me with little time to think outside that box (and CLAUDE how I hate that phrase!) and so, I almost resigned myself to the fact that there was nothing really going on in my head. I kind of enjoyed the break, really, it gave me time to chew more ice and play with playdoh.

Its hard to be indignant when playing with playdoh, unless you’re 3 and your sister refuses to share the pink/green/white/blue/carpet/cereal version she just compounded together and that you think tastes like pudding, only better. But, fear not! Today, I was given my free pass to the land of indignation! I’ll look up that word after I’m done bitching about…

“WOMEN.”

I was trying to find out synonyms for “women” for a new project on my horizon. I went to thesaurus.com because, well, where else do you go for synonyms? Guess what it says for “women” in thesaurus.com?

Funny I don’t feel like a weaker sex. Guess this wasn’t written by a guy with a cold or a woman giving birth…how funny and sad too.

Eh, left over from the Victorian days. We should really petition the dictionary. They have all kinds of slang in there now, how about some updated definitions, dude?

Do you know how much I love being righteously indignant? It’s a major reason why I stopped eating meat, and it’s pretty much the ONLY thing that keeps me driving like a sane person, since everyone else in Houston drives like an escaped lunatic.
