I like that word, “debacle.”

So, people in DC are up in arms about the plans for rerouting traffic for the Inauguration. It seems that there is no way for us Virginians to get into DC without going through Maryland. I’m not sure how this is going to affect people who are flying into Dulles.. and I really don’t care as long as I don’t have to worry about caravans of black cars stopping me from getting to the bookstore 1/2 mile away.

It could happen.

The problem of the day is that the people who live in DC are going to be put through hell, just to get home. I’m not sure why anyone wants to live in DC anymore, really. Its a great place to visit, to laugh at the Giant Phallus and eventually realize that if you turn to the right (or left), you can see the White House from the Phallus.That one only took me 3 years to figure out.

Other than that, DC is pointless if you aren’t a politician. It doesn’t even have a National Women’s History Museum (don’t get me started!) and therefore, DC super sucks.

The other problem of the day is that businesses in DC are going to suffer, as well. Well, sort of. They’re afraid business will be bad and they aren’t allowed to have delivery trucks come in, so they have to order all their extras before DC goes on lock down. Boo hoo. Next, they will be bitching about taxation without representation.

No, really DC, I do love you. Its not your fault that Obamapalooza is creating massive chaos and causing people simultaneous anxiety attacks. Just be sure you order enough beer before its too late.
