She’s one of those friends who, no matter what, really is always there. Her heart is amazing and I wish that we would speak more, but then I might take her friendship for granted more than I do now. She’s seen the best and worst of me, yet she still comes back for more. You gotta love that grit and determination

We spoke for a while about our lives, our kids, our futures. Just regular “catching up” sort of stuff that’s necessary when you only speak every few months. Her life is going well, and I admire all of the amazing changes she has made in order to become the woman she dreams of being.

Our conversation then turned to my “special purpose” and another site that I slave over, one that is for the benefit of women and moms everywhere. I have moments, sometimes days, of doubt about what I want to accompish with my online life. There are times it seems meaningless and an escape from my reality and I get really worried about my own sanity. Then there are times when I’m reminded why I devote so much energy into what I do… she simply said, “you are helping.”

Eventually, I hope she mentions what a great blog I have, too, but I’m sure that will happen in time
